Some of the other projects I promised pictures of...
PROJECT 1 - Storm Door
No one can break in through this door...
(In fact the company that makes it will pay your insurance deductible if someone does. It's supposed to be unbreakable.)
The Full Effect
No rain is getting on our back door thanks to the nifty storm door that Michael installed
PROJECT 2 - Garage Organization
I don't have pictures that show the work that Michael's done very well. But these will be a preview anyway. Maybe we'll get out there and take some better pictures soon.
Overview shot
(We'll work in a clockwise direction from left. Lawn supplies are on the left - the lawnmower is on the floor, there is a nice, coordinating panel to hang rakes, etc., and there's a shelving unit for sprinklers, garden supplies, etc. The work bench and peg board are directly in front of the Jeep. Mop, broom and trash can are to the right of the doors and in front of the Saturn. Bikes are in their nice little bike stands - these are great... no more falling bikes - on the right wall).
Yard Stuff
Here's a close up of the nice board that Michael made for hanging our yard supplies. He actually cut the edges on this board (fun new circular saw) and painted it to match our baseboards. It looks great! - and keeps us organized. There is a little extra space - but I'm sure it will be filled quickly. There is another board like this (only shorter) next to our door in the garage. We hang cleaning stuff - like mops and brooms - on that one.
Peg Board
Another well-done project by Michael... He is really good at stuff like this. The peg board is actually still a work in progress. Michael's has added more to the peg board since the picture was taken. He painted the peg board to match the color of the walls in the garage. Because it matches the walls, you can't see the peg board very well from a distance. So if you look from the street, it looks like there are a bunch of tools suspended in mid-air. Kind of fun...
