The Goodrums

Following the West Virginia game, we met up with our friends, Eric and Amanda, at their family farm/ranch in Shuqualak, MS. We spent the night there catching up. In the morning, we toured the old plantation home that they are renovating, checked out an interesting spider, tied some cornstalks to the roof of Kevin & Christy's jeep (we do live in Mississippi and all...), and the guys drove around the property on the Kubota and cut down a tree.

We left Shuqualak around noon on Sunday and trekked down to Laurel/Ellisville, Mississippi, where Eric and Amanda live. We checked out Eric's new studio and spent a few minutes relaxing at their cute, cinder block house. Then we went into Hattiesburg for the Third Day/David Crowder/Hyper Static Union concert. We got home late and were quite tired - but it was definitely worth it. We made many good memories that we will cherish for a long time to come.
