Hopefully this isn't offensive to anyone, but we found it quite funny...

The other night, Michael and I were discussing universities and wondering why the "University of _____" often goes by "_U."

For example:

CU = University of Colorado
DU = University of Denver
KU = University of Kansas
OU = University of Oklahoma
t.u. = University of Texas :)
WVU = University of West Virginia

As we thought through schools, I thought of Missouri (can you tell we're Big 12 folks?) and said "it's no wonder Missouri doesn't go by MU." Moooo....

Michael said, "No - it's a good thing Florida doesn't use that abbreviation!" FU. Could you even imagine?!? "What game are you going to this weekend? ..." Ha ha ha ha ha...
