The beauty lasted one day before the wind kicked in and blew all the leaves off the tree.

September 21 - First Day of "Fall":





















Notice no leaves on the tree. :)

October 28 - First Big Snow:
Over 2 1/2 feet at our house with higher drifts. The snow was about four feet deep in the roof picture below and over the fence in other places.


















Almost a week later, there was still over a foot of snow on the ground in spite of 60 degree weather and sunny skies everyday following the storm:
















Last weekend brought us another 6-8 inches of snow - and it looks like the mountains finally got some snow with the most recent storm. That's good news for our plans later this week. :)
