Home for Christmas

Posted by Jen |

So... in the midst of all the other busyness of late, we've also been attending to another little project. We're giving the saying "Home for Christmas" a whole new meaning.

In mid-November, we decided to start house shopping in the Jackson area. On the day before we left on our Christmas vacation, we made an offer on a house. The offer was accepted and we are planning to close on the house on January 16th. Kind of crazy!

The house is on a cul-de-sac lot in a new subdivision in Rankin County (adjacent to Jackson). It's only about 5 minutes from where we are currently living. It's actually very convenient - located near to where we go to church and our friends but not too far from work. The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath with a spacious kitchen, nice open living area, and formal dining room. It has beautiful fixtures and appliances (Michael loves the gas range!) as well as lots of natural light. It also has a large garage and little patio in the back. It is new construction - so it's currently empty. There are a few pictures below.

(Snapshot... you can't really see much - there's more around the corner)

And finally - for all the engineer and architect types... a floorplan. :)
