Stephanie sent this to us by email this morning. I got a good laugh out of it.
My family will really appreciate this one. Years ago - long before spoofing neighbors with cheap plastic yard trash was popular - we used to have a "war" going with some of our neighbors. It started innocently enough. We went out of town and when we came back home - we had a welcome home sign in our yard with a couple plastic flamingos. Next time our neighbors went out of town the collection grew. And it grew and grew. Before long, it had caught on as a trend - spoof that is. People would call and want to borrow the collection for baby arrivals, birthdays, etc. I think now there are businesses in the Woodlands that offer to "trash" yards with plastic animals for a fee and then clean it up afterwards. We so should have patented the idea! :)
