Sorry we have been so terrible about updating lately. Blogging is normally an outlet for me - stress relief - so when we don't blog you know it's been way too busy.

The last few weeks have been filled with traveling, company, house stuff and taxes.

The week of the 9th, Michael was in Idaho and I was in Houston for work. We both flew back that Friday and thankfully didn't get stuck in our respective travel locations, as Denver got snow again (it's a weekly ritual). I had fun hanging out with Teri, my sis, in Houston. We had a crazy adventure trying to find an obscure Walmart and a yummy dinner at Black Walnut Cafe in Rice Village.

We finally filed our tax extensions that weekend. Woohoo! Taxes were a major undertaking this year with living in 3 states, 2 jobs for Michael, buying and selling a house, moving, health savings accounts and more. Somehow both of our W2's were faulty. Michael's company issued corrected W2's before tax day but we're still waiting on mine - so we had to file an extension. I still can't believe we managed to figure them out without an accountant. Tax laws are really ridiculous!

Michael's parents came in this past Friday and have worked ridiculously hard helping us with landscaping. We have been so thankful to have their help. We worked Friday evening through Monday evening in the yard - and we were planning to do more work today until we encountered more joyful weather (at this rate it will be still snowing in July!). We are all worn out from our hard work. We will take a couple days break (Michael's parents are planning to travel to Salt Lake City tomorrow to visit Jennifer - Michael's sister) and then do more landscaping together this weekend.

There are many more things I had planned to blog but time keeps getting away from me. Hopefully life will begin to slow down soon. So tired...
