There has been some major progress on the landscaping front.

BREAKING NEWS: Another busted tire on the wheelbarrow.
This time we petitioned Home Depot for a better tire. Hopefully we'll have better luck without plastic bearings.

BREAKING NEWS: USGS better come resurvey... Mt. Elbert is no longer the Colorado highpoint.

We moved all this OUT of our yard for plants and topsoil. Now we are having ridiculous amounts of trouble trying to find a way to dispose of it.

BREAKING NEWS: It took a total of 5 whole minutes to mow our yard. It was 80-something degrees but I don't think Michael even worked up a sweat.

BREAKING NEWS: All the backyard landscaping should be officially complete as of this evening. We have sod being delivered this afternoon. All the dirt work is done - we just have to lay it down and we are DONE!

BREAKING NEWS: We actually did something other than landscaping for the first weekend in probably six weeks. We got to hang out with our great South African neighbors and watch rugby. I hear there's a manual the size of our homeowners' association guidelines for the rules of rugby. I better start learning... We are thankful for lots of great new neighbors.
