Umm... are we living in Arizona??

The real item of interest at the time was actually the humidity. Michael had noticed on the Weather Channel website that the humidity was in the single digits. He told me to put this thermometer, which we call "The Weather Dude," outside to see what the humidity measured. The interest quickly went from the humidity to the temperature. It's obviously not an accurate reading - as the thermometer was in the sun and on the hot concrete patio. Still - our sun is hot! The maximum reading before I took the thing out of the sun (didn't want it to melt) was over 131 degrees.
