The Goodrums

Not only has the PC (aka the "go cart" or Chevy Prism) been sliding out of the driveway, it's evidently been moonlighting as a criminal.

When we got back from Houston, we had a nice little note from a detective in the Lakewood, CO police department asking us to call him regarding an incident involving one of our vehicles. Michael called him yesterday and was thoroughly quizzed about the black SUV with our cool Colorado license plate number. Thankfully, the Prism is about the polar opposite of a black SUV and we were in Houston (not even in Colorado) on the relevant dates. We did have to check the car to make sure both license plates were still on it and hadn't been stolen. However, all checked out. The witness probably got confused when they reported the license plate number. I just hope our license plate isn't tagged in the law enforcement system now. I keep envisioning Michael calling me from the police station after being dragged in when the license plate sets off some kind of red flag in a random scan.

Man, the PC has been getting a lot of blog time lately. I think it's feeling needy or something!
